Summer Camps and Club Teams
Sad that the season is ending? Wondering what's next? The best thing you can do is get a stick in your player's hands whenever possible - practicing on a rebounder or wall, scooping ground balls or passing with a friend, sibling, etc. in the backyard. Every little bit makes a difference!
For those looking for more structure, there is plenty out there to find! Here is some information on a few camps this summer, as well as the tryouts for the 4 local club teams. Club Lacrosse falls outside the normal town lacrosse season and runs for about 5+ weeks in the summer and another 5+ weeks in the fall, tryouts are at the end July for Fall 2024/Summer 2025. Most club teams are full for Summer 2024, but a number of these programs also have mini camps/leagues for grades k-3 for 2024 that ARE still open.
The SWBL Board will be working over the summer to try and create fall and winter skills opportunities for our players, and will hopefully have more information in late August/early September.
